Travel back in time with the Spanish Military Hospital, where the doctor is always in. Hear untold history as the guides demonstrate revolutionary colonial surgery techniques. See the apothecary’s garden and herbs which are still used in medicines today. Learn how people lived and dressed in another time.
Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse
Located near the City Gates, The Old School House is an existing building of another time. Built over 200 years ago, while Florida was under the rule of Imperial Spain, it was built of red cedar and cypress and put together with wooden pegs and handmade nails.
