Fenway Park

Fenway Park is the home ballpark of the Boston Redsox. It opened on April 20, 1912. The park offers tours to visitors of all ages. Tours are offered year-round. While on the tour, you will get to see the press box, the green monster and depending on the time of day you may also get to walk by the dugouts or the bullpen. The outfield warning track is another part of the tour. The guided tour is nearly an hour in length. There are a few more options to consider during the visit to Fenway Park. Guests can dine at the Baseball Tavern. The roof deck overlooks Fenway Park and the decorations are Sox-themed. You may also want to sit in the red seat. Once you are inside the park, head out to the right field stands. About two-thirds of the way up, there will be a single red seat among a sea of green ones. Fans may want to get their food from a player. Are enormous hot dogs your favorite game food? If so, you can get the Rem-Dawg from former second baseman and long-time broadcaster Jerry Remy’s place.

The Robots and Beyond: Exploring Artificial Intelligence exhibit shares results of decades of artificial intelligence innovation at MIT. The first research in this area began in 1959. Today, the Computer Science and (AI) lab is the largest laboratory on the MIT campus. Visitors will get a behind-the-scenes look at the inventive concepts and processes that lead to the lab’s contributions in areas including medicine, underwater exploration, and entertainment.

JFK Library and Museum

Duck Tour

Boston Duck Tours are a fun and unique way to visit several famous sites. The fun begins once you are on board your “Duck,” a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle. First, you will be greeted by your ConDUCKtor, who’ll be narrating your tour. Then you will go on a journey like you’ve never been before. Museum of Science & Omni Theater

The Museum of Science and Omni Theater has a location in Boston, Massachusetts. The Incredible Energy presentation uses projectiles, explosions, and brain-racking pendulums to illustrate energy’s many forms.

Museum of Natural History

Mary Baker Eddy Library

The Mary Baker Eddy Library is located in Boston, Massachusetts. It was named after Mary Baker Eddy, a teacher, author, religious leader, and business woman. Its three-dimensional perspective of the world of 1935 is enhanced by a world of ideas, which is an original presentation that features a rich orchestration of words, music, and LED lights to illustrate how ideas have traversed time and geography and have changed the world. The Hall of Ideas is a neoclassical hall built in 1934. It is an original work of art created by acclaimed glass sculptor Howard Ben Tre which serves as the centerpiece of this grand hall. The cast glass and bronze sculpture acts like a fountain of constantly changing quotations from some of history’s most influential. thinkers. State-of-the-art computer programming is used to project both words and ideas throughout the Hall of ideas. The quotes begin by bubbling up from the center of the basin of water in the fountain, then flow around the rim toward observers, and finally overflow onto the floor and up the walls onto scrims.

Franklin Park Zoo

Franklin Park Zoo is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The location is a welcoming environment for visitors of all ages. While visiting, you can hear the unforgettable roar of a lion, stand inches from a gorilla, and meet many other animals! There are other fun attractions at the Franklin Park Zoo including the Rhino Rescue motion simulator and the 10,000 foot playground. The Rhino Rescue motion simulator ride is set in Africa. You will be on a high-speed chase alongside park rangers in their pursuit of poachers. You will encounter elephants, wildebeest and other wildlife while on the adventure to rescue and reunite a baby rhino with his mother.

You can explore museums and meetinghouses, churches, and burying grounds. You will also learn about the brave people who shaped our nation. While visiting, discover the rich history of the American Revolution, as it began in Boston, where every step tells a story. The Freedom Trail Foundation offers some of the most popular historical tours in New England. Guests can walk into history along the famous red line with 18th will hear the tales of the brave Bostonians and colonialists who dared to challenge Britain and established the greatest republic in the world. The tours are 90 minutes in length. The official sites featured on the Freedom Trail are: Boston Common, Massachusetts State House, Park Street Church, Granary Burying Ground, King’s Chapel and Burying Ground, Ben Franklin statue and Boston Latin School, Old Corner Bookstore, Old South Meeting House, the Old State House, the Boston Massacre Site, Fanuel Hall, Paul Revere House, Old North Church, Copp’s Hill Burying Ground, USS Constitution, and Bunker Hill Monument. Salem Witch Museum

The Salem Witch Museum is located in Salem, Massachusetts. While visiting, take a tour or shop in the Museum Store. Guests of all ages are welcome. The museum brings you back to 1692 Salem. Guests will experience the drama of history in life-size stage sets, figures, lighting and a stirring narration. The live guides take you through changing interpretations of witches, the truth behind the stereotypes, witchcraft practice today and also the frightening phenomenon of witch hunting. The presentation is an overview of the trials. During Halloween, there is another tour offered by the museum. It is known as the Haunted Happenings. There is a statue in front of the museum. The person presented on the statue is Rodger Conant. He was the founder of Salem. He didn’t have anything to do with the witch trials at all. His father was a merchant of a neighboring town known as Clayton. Rodger and his family arrived in Plymouth in 1622. The town was renamed Salem from the word “shalom” which means peace on June 29, 1629.

The USS Constitution Museum is located in Boston, Massachusetts. It houses the largest collection of USS Constitution-related objects assembled in one location. These collections focus on the ship’s origin, her role in the early republic, her continuing story, and on those who have shaped her history to the present day. The museum displays a wide range of artifact types, spanning the more than 200-year history of the USS Constitution. They are also rich in a human dimension of the crew. Through personal possessions such as images, journals, and correspondence, the location strives to bring the story of the people associated with the ship to life. The types of collections featured in the museum include: Art and Artifact Collections, Library and Manuscript Collections, and Constitution’s History. The Art and Artifact Collections feature: Arms and Armament, Artwork, Ceramics and Glass, Clothing and Textiles, Personal Possessions, Spoils of War, Tools of the Trade, and Souvenirs. New England Aquarium

The New England Aquarium is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The location is a popular attraction seeing 1.3 million visitors each year. It was opened in 1969. Several exhibits are featured at the New England Aquarium for visitors to experience! Old North Church

Old North ChurchThe Old North Church is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The location began its fame on the evening of April 18, 1775, when the church sexton Robert Newman, and Vestryman Captain John Pulling, jr. climbed the steeple and held high two lanterns as a signal from Paul Revere that the British were marching to Lexington and Concord by sea across the Charles River and not by land. The church was founded in 1722. This historic site is the most visited in the city of Boston. The Old North campus also contains a gift shop; the 1713 Clough house one of Boston’s oldest surviving brick residences, a chapel that was built in 1918 for Italian immigrants, two large courtyards and a formal garden. Group tours are offered every day all day long. Guests are seated in boxed pews to hear a brief 5-7 minute presentation on the history of Old North. The presentation highlights the founding of the church, items of architectural interest, the lantern story, and the role of Old North in the American Revolution.
